Environmental Policy
We all know by now that the planet and natural environment as we know it is in deep trouble. We are drowning (excuse the pun) in the amount of reports and evidence about these worrying trends about global warming, deforestation, pollution and many more horrible realities, that let’s face it, humankind have done more than our fair share of creating (and that’s being nice!).
As one of the Earth’s most intelligent, innovative and lets be honest epic creatures, we believe that the ‘human’ can and should play a role in the preservation of this wonderful planet. We need to be honest about the climate emergency and go about working differently to tackle it. We ask where we can, and challenge where we need to, businesses to do their bit for the environment.
Our team at Tusko stay on top of the impact our business activity creates. We have achieved this by investing in training our team, so they are ‘carbon literate’. This has allowed us to implement procedures and our policy which reduces and offsets our carbon footprint. We have a host of certification and initiatives we invest in from the Woodland Trust to high impact tree planting in the tropics. We will continue to look and refine our policy as the world faces new challenges. Please join us in doing so.
