Tusko is looking for a dedicated Digital Marketing Strategist to bring leadership, confidence and passion to the campaigns we work on for our clients. Your main role will be to develop and grow Tusko’s existing B2B offering as well as our exciting new B2C offering. You’ll do this by using innovative, creative, and robust applications of your skills, knowledge, and training within our marketing practices. The successful candidate will be data led yet also have buckets of creative flair.
This role will require you to think creatively and strategically to inspire companies to commit to digital marketing campaigns, thereby helping to create change in the world. Also, to inspire and grow our B2C audience and inspire them to think differently. This could be a really exciting role for someone who is motivated to lead in this area for us.
We’re looking for someone who can practically apply a combination of content development, campaign management, lead generation and marketing skills to grow our client list and awareness of our agency. You’ll be a digital native and have the ability to demonstrate your impact through ROI, data analytics and volume of quality leads. Although this is a digital marketing role some experience of PR and OOH advertising would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
Take a leadership role in creating, managing and delivering projects and new business pitches that are impactful, credible and strategy led, using a mix of in-house and freelance team members
Devise, plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM (drive targeted organic traffic from the search engines by ranking for competitive queries), marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
Experience with strategic marketing. Identify strategic gaps and offering initiatives to improve performance
Organise, plan and write blog posts based on keyword research that you have completed
Take initiative and lead on social media channels to drive the promotion of content, success stories/case studies and items of importance/interest to our audience
Be proactive and reactive to audience conversation on social channels
Create digital marketing funnels, copy and content for funnels. Innovating and coming up with tests to improve your funnel metrics
Devise and deliver marketing campaigns and content strategies for our company and our clients
Work closely with the creative team to provide them with the key information (and copy) they need to translate analysis, insights and strategy into engaging, creative communications across reports, videos, motion graphics and copy
Create marketing material for use within campaigns (image/video) – Supported by team
Set up and optimize Google Adwords and Google Ad Grants campaigns
Conduct A/B and multivariate experiments where appropriate
Leading and generating ideas on advertising initiatives
Analysing results of digital campaigns and reporting back to client or team
Develop brand voice for B2B and B2C markets
Create campaigns that land top-flight press coverage on key target publications
Update our website with case-studies, blogs, news articles, etc
Marketing Psychology: Understanding the key pains and benefits of our products, coming up with hooks and angles and knowing how to adjust our communication along our audiences’ awareness journey
Generate Revenue: At the end of the day every funnel leads to a sale. You need to be numbers driven and grow our revenue
Spearhead marketing initiatives such as seminars, speaking events, etc. for sales team
Track inbound digital activity through CRM to sales team
Work with the internal team to help them develop their online personal brand.
Work with the internal team to help develop their marketing practices and processes
Mentor, challenge and develop Tusko employees by demonstrating outstanding role model behaviour. Track and evaluate career progression of junior employees through regular catch ups and occasional appraisals
Manage Account Manager – who will support in ensuring timings, meetings, project management on tasks are completed so you can focus on the big thinking
Developing our B2C channel and initiatives from the ground up, refining and building upon an existing idea we have within the company.
Plan, run and facilitate inspiring workshops that inspire and engage businesses, stakeholders, employees etc. Demonstrating the ability to think quickly and adapt based on different audiences/participants.
Utilise your strategic leadership to proactively drive and identify new opportunities for growth, shaping the company’s future and pushing these ideas forward to the team
Communicate and collaborate with our stakeholders, clients, and other agencies (suppliers) via email, telephone, in person and online when appropriate.
Identify new networks for our company to operate in
Build and deepen connections within our networks
Keep up to date with industry news and trends and propose strategies for the company
Prepare and submit awards nominations
Evaluate emerging technologies to provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Demonstrate an always on mentality in regard to identifying opportunities, networking events, and new business on behalf of Tusko and recommending these to the company and clients
Develop a growth mindset to change the world through our clients and our own campaigns
Have a customer-centric attitude; recognise that you represent our brand to all customers, and work with other departments to ensure best customer experience
Qualifications and Skills:
5 years+ agency experience in digital marketing/advertising role. We are also very open to candidates with much more experience, seeking reduced / flexible working hours
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, Communications, or related field advantageous.
Experience with online advertising (display, search, programmatic)
Keen interest and knowledge of Google Analytics
Substantial and knowledge of existing digital channels and a broad understanding of the digital landscape
Keen interest in emerging technologies (and platforms and channels).
Experience working with Mailchimp
Strong copywriting ability and experience
Growth Hacking Mindset: Constantly innovating and coming up with tests to improve your funnel metrics
Excellent interpersonal skills, an exceptional team player and able to handle tight deadlines, fast execution while being detailed-oriented
Data & Testing: Data is a huge part of this job, so you need to love numbers and be able to connect the dots with different data sets and make clear conclusions.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Native English is a must. Additional languages would be welcomed
Experience using SEO tools, WordPress, Google Analytics and Search Console
Experience creating and managing budgets, driving profitability and efficiency
Analytical approach with strong attention to detail
Extensive experience planning and implementing digital strategies, in particular paid spend
A firm understanding of B2B and B2C Digital Marketing
Digital native; at ease using a range of applications on desktop and phone to communicate with the team
Confident communication skills, both vocal and written
Excellent time management and project management skills
Your approach is result-oriented, customer centric, data-driven and analytical
Candidates with experience of design using Adobe Creative Cloud would have an advantage
