No matter how good, smooth and engaging your website is, it wouldn’t matter if it can’t be seen. This is why maintaining your SEO is an important aspect of your website’s performance. 

Typically we associate its success to one’s content marketing strategies and use of both relevant and unique keywords, but there are actually a handful of other methods you can use to boost your Brand’s Search Engine Optimization.

Here are a few of those methods:

Incorporating a Link-Building Strategy

Google, the top and most used search engine on the market, according to Ahrefs, determines the use of backlinks as one of their top three factors for ranking. 

The logic behind this is that the more backlinks a website has the more traffic it has. This translates into having more organic search traffic over time. 

To acquire more backlinks, you can:

  • Reach out to others in your industry to be backlinks in exchange for valuable resources. 

  • Pitching guest blog posts on other relevant websites. While very effective this method does require you to have an authoritative presence online

  • Look for mentions of your brand online and request a backlink

  • Produce content that people want to share. That said, do always give people the option to share your content - especially on social media platforms. 

Targeting the Right Audience

Brands contribute to a community in some way or another. While it might not be for free, the fact is that they do target a specific audience. Otherwise, their goals would become vague and lack the motivation they have when aligning themselves with a certain group of individuals. 

You need to identify which community or audience you primarily target. Once you’ve accomplished this, you can focus on creating valuable content on relevant topics that this audience would be interested in.

Make Videos for your Website

This doesn’t necessarily call for all your content to be in video format. In fact, blogs and articles are always an excellent option in boosting brand awareness, however, they aren’t exactly the quickest and most engaging.

Repurpose Content

That said, rather than eliminating blogs altogether, you can repurpose them into videos instead. Not only will it appeal to more audiences but sharing your idea through video format will also help get multiple places in google research.

Creating Quality Content on a Consistent Basis

This goes without saying that your content should be SEO-friendly. However, consistently adding in new content is also key to boosting your SEO rankings. 

You can update your website by adding in new articles, art or products. While visitors might like your site as is, going back to the same details, images and product pages can deter users from revisiting and exploring your pages. Search engine spiders are also rather eager to check out fresh content too.
